Synopsis

The story revolves around Vijay playing the role of a youngster from a Mumbai-based Tamil family; the happy go lucky man's life undergoes a sudden turn. The decisions he takes after that is the rest of the story.

The movie starts with one family from train station waiting someone to come back and they got called that the train got technical problem and the train stopped somewhere in middle and show where the train was stopped and then the camera moved to every each army la clothes with its name tag and then show one fighting where the introduction of



Jagdish(Vijay)

fighting with his colleageus as they both from same Indian army and after Vijay wins, the song starts with Kutti Puli Kootam song and when the song going to finish la, the introduction of



V.Ravichandran(Jayaram)

who comes to the Jagdish song dancing and Jagdish saluted him. Then the train arrived in Mumbai la where the one family who waits someone to come back was Jagdish family la but as Vj sits in taxi with his family, both of his parents tell him that they are going to see girls for him but he do not like and just following his parents command la and when he reached girl house, he was greeted by



girl's dad(Manobala)

and



girl's mother(Anupuma Kumar)

and when Jagdish and his family sits and tell girl's parents to call her and they called



Nisha(Kajal Agarwal)

holding tea cup to give to Jagdish and his family but he rejected as he did not like her and just went away from her house. The scene shows on taxi when his daddy asking him to tell one reason why he rejected her and he told not one reason but 3 reason why he rejected. First  he got long hair second, she talks softly and nicely and third she wears traditional girl but actually Nisha was the opposite of what Jagdish saw her character. The next day he met with his best friend



Balaji(Sathyan)

a police sub inspector and he asked him to bring him to girls college where there is boxing contest fight la, When he reached there, he told to Balaji why he rejected Nisha and while he storytelling to him, he suddenly got shocked to see her participate in boxing fight with another girl but for a moment Nisha lost focus to her opponent due to her flash back scene where Jagdish said he did not like her and that another girl took advantage by punching Nisha many times but soon Nisha realized she was in fight, she just jumping and use her fist to knockout that girl and wins and Jagdish got shocked to see she win the tournament and second song start which is Antartica song.


After the song was finished, the next day he and Balaji ride together in a bike and reached traffic light where on his right was Nisha who sitting in auto where he can saw Nisha face through his bike rear windows and he putting that jujuju scene (remember he did the same thing to the Anuskha while she eating grape in Vettaikaran). She went out suddenly from auto and asked him but he denied until she broke the left window and punch right windows of Balaji bike and go back to auto while he and Balaji did not realised that she took the bike key to fool them la . Then the next day shows he and Balaji were sitting on the bus while one of peoples who sitting in the bus telling that his wallet was missing and so Jagdish and Balaji asked all the peoples who in the bus to go out for checking. Jagdish cover the back of the bus while Balaji cover in front of the bus but in that same bus, there is one people



Anon1(Gautham Kurup)

who was worried and sweating and he puts something inside the bag and put below his seat la and when he turn his back to be check by Jagdish, he quickly run away from the bus and Jagdish was shocked because Sathyan calls him and said he had caught the wallet thief which makes Jagdish confused why that man run away from him so he chased him and managed to caught him and asking him why he running away but that man refused to answer and suddenly the bus was bomb blasted because the thing that man put inside the bag was a bomb la, Jagdish was angry but he not showing in his face and the police caught anon1 but he had been brought to hospital as he was injured while fighting with Jagdish. In the same day at night while Jagdish riding back to his home, he saw Balaji with his officer guarding Jagdish house and Balaji told Jagdish that the man had escaped from hospital and had killed 2 police officer so he worried about Jadgish safety but Jagdish with his innocent face just park his bike and went upstair of his house. He open his cupboard and Anon1 was tied by him and the flashback show when he was in the hospital, Jagdish was outside of hospital to guard that Anon1 and whilie he managed to escaped and killed the officer, he was caught by Jagdish and Jagdish kidnapped him and put him in cupboard la. The he bring Anon1 to sit on the chair with his mouth was closed by tape and he asked him who ask him to put the bomb but that Anon1 would not tell until Jagdish chopped Anon1's last finger and threaten to him if he not telling the truth, his next finger will be chopped but then Anon1 managed to tell one person name which is Inbashekar.


Jagdish put back Anon1 into the cupboard and went to the Inbashekar house and ask him something which he said he did know anything until Jagdish show Anon1 in the cupboard photo to Inbashekar which makes him sweating and asked Jagdish to come upstair and Jagdish show two people in which one is police pistol and another one is Jagdish pistol and asked him to choose which one where Jagdish said if Inbashekar shoot himself, there will be no investigation and he will got money pension etc but if he decided to shoot Jagdish, Jagdish will kill him and if the investigation asked what the reason behind this, Jagdish will reveal the truth of Inbashekar and Jagdish told to him that he is an deputy intelligence agency and secret top army where his friends and family never know his real status and then Inbashekar decide to shoot himself and his last word was he said that Jagdish will not escape on this and Inbashekar died by shooting himself. Jagdish found a one plain white paper which contains many red dots so he brought back to home la and try to solve that by playing cubic and the second song is playing that is Thuppakki theme song la.


The scene took place to the something else where there is main villain



Sleeper Leader[SL](Vidyut Jamwal)

got sms from someone that told the man who was caught by Jadgish managed to escape from hospital and being caught by someone else and show SL just thinking something and then the scene show Nisha went to her friend wedding in which she got shocked to see her friend choose an old people as her husband and she bring her to near place and asked her why she married with old people although she was once the most beautiful girl in college and simply her friend said that her husband had a lot of money that satisfy her la and makes Nisha tension and realized her mistakes by rejecting Jagdish and that time Jagdish and Balaji was talking each other and Balaji asked him who caught that Anon1 in hospital as Jagdish going to reveal he was the one who caught that Anon1, Nisha call him and ask him to meet her and she told her problem to him where her family had found one man which was an army but she do not like him as she had felt love with Jagdish but she told him that she will meet that army man in the restaurant and she asked Jagdish to follow her and when they both reached restaurant, Jagdish told her that let him come first to met with that army man when he came to meet him, he got shocked to know that army man was his senior Ravichandran and he salutes him la and she suddenly come in front of them and got shocked to see Jagdish saluted to Ravichandran and she talks with Ravichandran until there will be a song which is Alaikaa Laikaa song.


The scene moves to Jagdish house where Balaji come and met him and asked him again to continue the story where Jagdish kidnapped that Anon1 in the hospital and Jagdish open the cupboard and Balaji was shocked because that man was inside the cupboard and asked Jagdish why he did not earlier gave call to the police officer about this matter but Jagdish said if he sent this man to the police officer, he will not get any clue or idea and then he put injection to that man and said that man will be wake up in 2 hours in which he not closing the cupboard and untie him and they both left out. Jagdish and Balaji went to Jagdish friend marriage in church where they both taking pictures with his team squad with his friend and the girl who married with his friend. Jagdish call his 11 friends and said "We gonna play a game where there will be one man come outside of my house and we must follow him  to see who was his connection and follow his connection and then split 6 peoples la" and they both agreed la. He with his 11 friends ride in a special bus where the bus reached his house and all of them watching carefully as Anon1 had awake and quickly run away from Jagdish house and took one auto and to avoid being detected, he change to another auto where he met with his connection and Jagdish asked 11 friends to split where they split until all of them had found the 11 connection while Jagdish followed Anon1 and Jagdish said to all of his 11 friends to open the bag that he gave earlier in the bus and when they open the bag, they was shocked to see a pistol in which he told them to do not be afraid and that why he told earlier it was a game but now become serious matter la as he going to give command to them to headshot all the connection and the countdown starts where Jagdish counts from 3 to 1 and he tell them to shoot and all shoot the connections head and Jagdish headshot Anon1 and he congrats his 11 team mate for completed the mission. Then the scene shows the television news where the reporter told all 12 connection were bomber who gonna place each bomb secretly but was killed in which the camera moves to SL where he is angry as one of 12 died connection was his brother and he tried to call his brother phone in which Jagdish had his handphone and SL told to him " If I get u, I will killed u" and Jagdish said " I'm waiting" and then intermission.

The scene shows where Jagdish, Ravichandran,Nisha and



a girl(Akshara Gowda)

were at restaurant as Ravichandran feels Jagdish needs a partner life so he introduce that girl to him in which Nisha felt that she had saw this girl but she forgot where she had saw this girl even Ravichandran admit that somewhere he had seeing this girl as Jagdish feeling shy to see that girl as the girl eyes is so strong looking towards Jagdish. Nisha asked Jagdish to discuss something in hide place in which Ravichandran got shock because why should Nisha discuss with Jagdish instead of that girl but Nisha told she wants to convince Jagdish that the girl is nice in which Nisha and Jagdish discuss together far from Ravinchandran and the girl. Nisha asked Jagdish whether his phone had wireless connection and internet and he said yes and she shows to him one nude site where that girl photo was shown on that site and he got shocked and run off. The scene moves to the SL held a meeting with his mate and asked how the bomb mission was failed and how 12 of his man were died and he try to sort out in which he can identified that 12 peoples who shoot his men were trained shooter and all of them was wearing coats and he said he need to find some clues regarding these shooters.


The scene shows Jagdish and Nisha got phone call from Ravichandran to come his home and as they both come to home, they found that Ravichandran bring

in which he described as aatai ponne(I am not concrete on that ) and he told that girl going to suicide as her family find future husband for her as she did not like and only love to Ravichandran and with his sad feeling, he asked why Jagdish and Nisha cannot be couple together and they both happy after listened to the Ravichandran advise and the next song which is my favourite song that is Google Google song and when the song going to finish, Jagdish going to kiss Nisha, he remember back where he planned with his 12 team mate in the church where his friends was married and  he quickly leaving without kissing and telling her and he quicky called Balaji to pickup him and went to the church as he confident that main villain will going to that church to find some information in which the scene shows in church where SL is taking information in the date which his 12 friends was headshot and he asking the mother whose and which marry was happened on that day in which she told him and he even got the home address of Jagdish married friend and he went there. He was greeted by Jagdish friend daddy and that daddy brings the marriage album photos because that time Jagdish friend was not there and when he saw the album photo, he saw many people were taking pictures with Jagdish friend and when that daddy ask him which badge he joined army, he pretended to be same badge army with Jagdish friend and his daddy revealed that there is 5 group of army team captured in his son marriage album photos. While they both were talking, Jagdish friend brother come back to home and ask to his daddy who the person come and questions to SL which badge and what status of his army team in which SL is speechless and cannot answer it.


SL with his cruel face la quickly shots Jagdish friend brother,daddy and grandmother and quickly he leaving that place with a clue for Jagdish. Jagdish and Balaji arrived their friend place and got shocked to see all family members of his friends were killed and Jagdish found the album where he saw each of 5 group of army team that being captured in his friend marraige album photos had being circly marked in which he quickly called mark men where all said they are fine and Jagdish went outside to some place and keep thinking why SL not kill the marked ones until he felt asleep one night and the next day shows he wake up on the same place and got a call by one of mark men where he had being told that the SL main focus is by kidnapping girl of mark men family in which SL's men captured the girls that live in mark men house la until Jagdish had a plan where one of the mark men sister still not been caught so he called his



sister(Deepthi Nambiar)

to take the mark men sister bike. While his sister ride on that bike and on the traffic light, SL's men caught his sister and that bike  being ride by SL close friend(the villain of Lee Tamil movie, remember right?). The vllains bring her to some hide place where all of markmen girls being put there la. While Jagdish is confusing how to find his sister, his another sister with his dog come from auto and he took one of the dress that bought from his sister and asks his dog to smell where the dog can sensed the movement of Jagdish sister who was caught. In the hide place, the villains asked Jagdish sister in every 5 photos the group of army team mark men which is her brother but she told none of them was her brother and when the villain put photos in the slideshow, she show his brother in which makes the villain shock because he was not a mark man and the villains become suspicious on Jagdish and they called SL and he asked them to tie all mark men girls but the Jagdish sister should be killed. When the villains starting to kill her, Jagdish arrived and killed the villains and fights with one of SL assistant where he managed to beat him until he cannot walks and then shows Jagdish untie the mark men girls and tell them to be cool and just answer lie if police officer asked them la.


Jagdish drove his car with his sister still showing angry face on him because he used her to trap the villains but he respond her with his innocent face as he felt nothing happen la. The scene moves to the Jagdish house where Nisha climb his house to reach his room where he is trying the cutter for test and when she makes surprise coming, he going to use his cutter to hit her but luckily he can captured that was his girl la and when Jagdish talks with Nisha, Balaji going to arrive Jagdish home and he asked her to hide where she suddenly want to hide on first cupboard where he hides SL assistant and asked her to hide on the next cupboard as he lied to her that the first cupboard full of his dress and when Balaji arrived, Balaji asked something to him and there will be a comedy scene and there will be a one song which is Vennilave song.


After the song is finish, the next day SL called Jagdish and told he had put bomb for each place of Jagdish mark man including Jagdish too where SL told he going to show example to Jagdish by telling one of the mark man name to him and ask Jagdish to call his markmen and  SL told that the mark man got only 5 seconds to escape in which he cannot even escape. Jagdish called his mark men where he was eating with his family in shopping mall la(SL told to Jagdish the exact place where the mark men is going or located la). When Jagdish asked him to escape with his family, he felt guilty because not telling the public about bomb being planted in this building and when he going to announced the bomb and suddenly the bomb being blasted and he died on that building with his family la and SL told the exact place where the other Jagdish friends including Jagdish as SL never know Jagdish is the main head of the headshot mission and SL told to him the next target was Jagdish which makes Jagdish sweating and then SL told he was joking and quickly Jagdish told to him he going to meet SL and he agreed and the phone was cut off.


The next day Jagdish holding meeting with some of handicapped peoples who was army men but lost their leg as they were expert in C4 bomb explosives as Jagdish plan is where the C4 bomb is ready, there will be one man following Jagdish where Jagdish will put tracking GPS chip and he can follows him until Jagdish reached the SL place and that man need to place the bomb there and Jagdish said this mission is going to be a suicide mission la and next day, Jagdish meet with Nisha and told her to forget their love as he never knows he will be alive or not as he told that suicide mission to her la but Nisha said she always with him la and then shows he went back to his place la and see his childhood photos and army photos. On the next day, the mission starts where Jagdish place the GPS  chip tracking inside his arm and he went to that place and called SL where there is one of SL man waiting and SL asked him to check Jagdish whether he bring pistol in which Jagdish are safe as he never bring pistol and SL asked Jagdish to take a car that had being prepared by SL on that place and drive the car to the place where SL asked him to park the car and repeatedly driving other car prepared by him and park the car until he was need to go by boat and then he reached a big ship where he met with SL and SL showed to him using SL laptop that the cars that Jagdish had been parked were contained bombs inside the car and threaten to him as if the bomb going to be blast, Jagdish gonna be blame on this and the government and his army team friend will thinks Jagdish as double agent by helping the terrorist for bomb blasting or if the bomb was not blast and SL with his team had being caught, he can told to the police officer that Jagdish was the one who plants the bomb inside the car as SL showed his own CCTV where its show Jagdish parking the car la.

The climax shows Jagdish was tied in the middle of the ship and SL ask him what his final wish and he said he wants SL to punch and kick him until he is dead and SL is agree with his term and he starting to taking punch and kicks to Jagdish where he broke Jagdish left arm and going to kill him using pistol but Jagdish laughing loudly and said "if you are still going to use pistol to kill me its seem you still scare of me although my arm is broke and he is alone in here and why should you worried about me la" its like he challenged SL to untie him since his left arm was broken la and SL untie him and fighted him but in the same time, the one man who tracks Jagdish reached the seaside where he went using boat and he took swimming suit and went to the ship side and place the bomb and setting the time la and the camera shows back where Jagdish broke his left leg when fighting with SL and suddenly with miracle power, Jagdish regain his momentum by recovering his left leg and left arm and fights back SL and managed to make SL fell down and Jagdish took the SL pistol and aim to his head and also take him as hostile as other peoples who holding their weapons put their weapons down as Jagdish holding SL and bring him to the small boat where both Jagdish and SL seat together and SL said that the control room to make bomb blast was on that ship and he said Jagdish cannot doing anything and then Jagdish took his watch and tell 3...2...1 and then he asked SL to see the ship where the ship being blasted by C4 explosive la and while SL was confusing what happen on that ship and Jagdish replied his doubt by shooting to his head and show a scene where SL close friend had shoot himself similar to the Inbashekar scene and the last scene shows on train station where the army going back to their place where V. Ravichandran said to his team mate that he is happy to see both Nisha and Jagdish were together and dialogues between Balaji and Jagdish and the last song that is Poi Varavaa song(sad song) as Jagdish went to the train to go back to his army place training and and the train moving and the movie ends.
