In order to get into the 'skin of the character', actors can go up to any length. Well, the 60 year old veteran actress Daisy Irani (aunt of Farah Khan) will now be seen in the film Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (SFKTNP), that's being directed by Bela Sehgal. This film stars the unlikely lead pair of Boman Irani and Farah Khan.

There was a scene in the film that required Daisy to get drunk. Daisy, who generally doesn't drink, landed up guzzling down 5 full bottles of beer! Talking about this 'beer-dare' incident, Daisy said that, on that day, she was very exhausted and was expecting the shot to wrap up quickly, which didn't happen. Since the film schedule got stretched for the full day, Daisy came up with the unique solution of really getting drunk, which not only got her 'into' the character, but also acted as a source of de-stress for the actress!

Hats off to this true 'spirit' of acting of Daisy Irani.
