The Indie thriller In Boom will cast Evan Rachel Wood along with Uma Thurman. Wood will play the younger version of Thurman’s character.

The movie centers on the story of a teenager who witnesses a high school shooting. Fifteen year later, unable to recover from the survivor’s guilt, her grip on reality begins to break and she faces a shocking truth.

The movie is an adaptation of the Laura Kasischke novel “The Life Before Her Eyes”. Vadmin Perelman is directing the movie.

The 19 year old actress made her debut with the movie Little Secrets and gained popularity with her movie Thirteen. She also starred in Pretty, Persuasion and Down in the Valley.
