The year 1989 brought a change in the lives of Telugu movie audience. They witnessed the birth of a young energetic actor and a future successful director. Nagarjuna- Amala starrer Shiva under the direction of new comer Ram Gopal Verma was released that year. This movie also had a love story blooming between Amala and Nagarjuna. The couple now are happily married.
Ram Gopal Verma too has emerged as one of the best directors Bollywood and Tollywood. This year, 2006, will have the sequence of Shiva. It has been titled as Shiva 2006. This movie is different from the previous one and has a police story as its back drop. Shiva 2006 has been made under R.G.V. films banner and will be released on August 25th.
Mohit and Nisha Kothari (Amoha of Kollywood) are the lead pair in this movie. Kona Venkat has penned down the dialogues. Illayaraja has composed music. Others in cast are Upendra, Sherveer, Ram, Lakshman and others. Songs have been provided by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry. Cinematography has been done by Amal.Stunts are by Ram and Lakshman.
