Welcome to new poll. Are you interested to be keep hide function or not? I’ll tell you what Hide function is, you may see many movies links hided by hide function, if we want to get the link we need to give reply and come back first page to see the links. Here our question is should we keep the movie link openly or hiding that? Because our new member’s even though old members also don’t know how to get the link, also we are getting many spam replies. My personal and most of moderator wises is remove the hide function completely from Uyirvani and keep the link open, in those cases we no need to give reply to get the links. My kind advice is all members please vote here. Because the decision upon your votes.

hey removing it completely will lead to lots of abuse... Ur precious bandwidth will be wasted... So dont remove hide tags for the tamil movies section which is the prime spot of the forum... In tat section lots of direct links are posted nah.. so better enable hide tags for tamil movies or in other words simply implement a rule saying links in all other sections need not be hidden...

The hollywood music section etc can have open links... but dont disable hide in the tamil section... And whos complaining abt the hide tags?? only a damn leecher would complain abt hide tags... I have been to lots of forums ... And I seen many forums with some 4000 to 5000 members vanish cause of leeching... PPL there just leech the links posted there and never care to come back to post... But with hide tag enabled this is taken care of...

Anyways tats just my suggestion... THough i dont visit uyirvani as often(cause of final yr project etc..) i used to before I do like this forum as its a well maitained and decent forum and tat too by n for tamils !!!

i have more than a hundread times supported for removing it
and i still do so
lets wait till we get some 250 votes or something
then we will decide on it

My opinion is not to remove the hide option.....

Guyz .... is strongly urge to keep the hide function .... Da reason bein' that way @least we'll get some posts and people would participate even though unwillingly or else this place will become just like other places where people come and download thingz and go without even leavin' a trace nor showin' no kinda gratitude .... Well this is my 2 cents ....

I think if people want somethin' they gotta have and show some gratitude and they won't lose nothin' by postin' a message (see the brigher side spammin' or not still it will help 'em improve their post count, i'm not sayin' they should spam). No matter what people decide i think i'll hide any downloadable link that i post be it movies ... music or watever the F$ck it iz ...and i think even in the application section we need to implement it back ...

Now to think wat is one losin' by postin' a msg ... if someonez complainin' 'bout it then they r the stupid leecherz and if u r encouragin' 'em then i guess even u r all a part of that crime ... i solely don't support this and i guess u guyz r wastin' ur time in keepin' a poll for somethin' like this which is only benificial only to the F$cked up leecherz and any sensible person wouldn't support it or bring up such an issue. No offence meant but i think realistically and this is wat that comez to my mind.

PS : Also a poll needed be amongst the mods/admins as they r da onez who take the pain to upload/post anythin' and not da memberz who only come here to find somethin' and who never bother to upload or post nothin' and the people who r actually benifitted by it.

haha i agree with u fully.. i have been fighting all alone on this matter while u where away ... their is another topic for this in our moderat section where 95 % said to remove it...
so totally political pressure for little dhil to escape from this pressure and get more opinions i told to ask peoples opinion..
92 out of 130 have asked to remove..

dhil easy wayto escape the pressure .give money to some local rowdies and threaten the mods to vote in favour

Think 'bout it Dhil ... the only people who r complainin' 'bout the hide function r the fishy onez coz then they need to post a msg to view the link and with that u can track their ip's with their Id .... Now these r the people who leech and post da linkz elsewhere i guess and since they don't wanna be tracked and they r aware of that fact they just want the links to be open so that they quietly come and leech and go ... I think every other person who posts anythin' here should agree to this az itz a question of their hardwork and integrity ...

all of you who want to remove the hide function are big gunniyas.you are ready to trade hide function with mass mails
the only reason given in favour of removing hide function is that there are spam replies.which doesn't weigh against the reasons for not removing it.

a better way will be dhil and zaamil fight ondiku ondi.mastan and necro can be tag team partners

hmm..ok...i think its good that we have removed the hide function...but see..no decision is perfect,all do have some advantage and some disadvantage...


so..i feel before we remove this hide function,we should prepare a text and inform the members about this..


but i do feel that we should ask one final decision and one final opinion from all the mods and vip in the respective section....just only one reply from everyone...let us sort it out for once for all...
