so ppl .... i was jus thinkin y this site was named www.uyirvani.com .... i thought it was worth debating wat it meant ... coz it means different to different ppl ... here goes my explanation .

uyirvani = uyir + vani = sound of life ... tats how it goes ....

sound of life = sound of music ... is my inference .... may b this name means passion towards music ... may b the site creators mite hav thought they wanted such a name which wud depict their passion towards music ... n tats y this site came to b known as uyirvani.com ...

this is my explanation guys ... wat do u think?? do write watevr u feel abt it

well let me give the real reason why its called uyirvani...

It all started actually 3 years back, A friend named Dr.nakeeran (fiber technology scientist) alais NAX and i was chatting in a small hub, as he had a vey highspeed connection, we started to share each others files, he showed me how to open and configure a hub. after a few months he went on vacation to india, at that time he was living in honkong working for a uni. as he was away some months, i got the idea of starting my own hub... so i started a hub, and had a handful of users who came and downloaded.. and their i met a new friend.. rajeev from holland (Network designer, a very clever chap) alais rajuhe was a person whom i saw up to as he was a very clever webdesigner, and a programmer.. he was running a website named rj-p.com. I had access to latest movies first on net, and had a hub.. he started helping me with programming scripts to keep the hub clean for spammers and other type of people.. and soon we became partners where i ran the hub (financially) and he programmed all the stuff for it..we used day and night on it, and with his site rj-p.com we became a big HIT.. our record touched 450 users online at same time. Nax came back from holiday, and he could get us the latest movies... so we released first on net again, and the hub became very strong and good.. we made a good staff team .. from their i began to know MIL. we had a staff team with 20 users. after running a year, i began to have some financial problems, cause as a 17 year old boy, i had to pay arround 200 dollars pr month + movies.. so at that time, i got introduced to a new friend alias VID/vidu/VIDYa by raju.. she helped with some financial help a really nice hearted person..she helped with 50 % of the financial cost for 2 months, and also wanted to change the name tamilhub.kicks-ass.net to tamilhub.net.. but as hub means something stupid.. compared to switches and routers.. raju disagreed to call it tamilhub.. i my self liked the name very well... so we was trying to find a new name.. in that case, vidu came up with a name uyirvani.. the sound of life / sound of heartbeat.. she was the one who also payed for domain.. so from their tamilhub had to names. uyirvani and tamilhub... we really used much time on the hub.. i used more time on hub, that my family i think.. then came the summer which i will never forget in my life.. our family went to srilanka for my sisters marriage.. when i came back, i had a big bill to pay for my internet,for my cellphone and ect ect.. the bill was so big, that i had to give all my money from my salary to the cellphone bill.. i had no money..i tried to contact all the others to get some help, none where their.. the only person who sended monthly was Mil, he supported me all the way from the start till it ended with some shillings.. others also gave some one time payment with 10 dollars.. and that was it... my financially postion was so weak that i couldnt do anything, i had a to decide.. to close the hub or not... then i decided to close it.. the team got teared up, had no contact with most of them, i had contact to a few, it was raju,vidu, suresh ( admin of dragonz-prs) one of my staffs, mil, marudha ( Omprakesh, a C++ developer at a big company in states),meena (house wife) and a few others.. slowly everything went off... and the story of uyirvani ended... i was dead tired of the internet and left it away from me for a few months... then one day, i had mil on msn, we spoke up and down, and i found out, mil was running a ARR project.. so actually this ARR project founder is Mil, mil was running uyirvani27.free.fr in the mean time uyirvani.com domain was running out of time, our 1 year contract ran out, so again we bought the domain ... then mil and i designed a new site, for people... soon we found out, updating uyirvani as a site is too big work.. so we made it as a forum... now u guys got the whole story behind uyirvani.. this is how uyirvain started, and who named it, what it means, and ect ect

well pavan, i had a team it was once apona time.. now i have a great team, much stronger and i have big plan with this team, i agree we once had a good sucess, but then it became a dead site, now its because of you guys it has the role what it is, HATS of for it, i really mean it when i say u guys are doing a great job.

TO Mekala, i should thank you guys for making it for what it is.. according to my opinion even if uyirvani was something else before and it has been builded once and it became a ground zero.. now we are rebuilding it... mekala u should not only be happy and proud of being a part of the site, but u should be proud that ur one of the person behind uyirvani for what it is today.. hats of for it

yes yes yes ..... this is wat i wanted frm dhil ... my main reason for this topic is exactly this ... HISTORY OF UYIRVANI .... i was so eager to knw it frm dhil ... once long time bac wen i was chattin with dhil .. i asked him the same question "dhil tel me abt the histroy of uyirvani" , he told me somethings but not the whole thing ... now tat i knw ... dhil nee enna vannana sollu but u r jus gr8 ... n its so good of u to give credit to us ... let me tel u its bcoz of U dhil ... tat i bcame so close to this uyirvani family ... bcoz of the encouragement given by u ... anytime i talk to u ... u always have words of encouragement for me .... this is for me i dont knw abt other moderators ... but for me this is the truth ... i knw i hav done some quality wrk here ... n i wil continue so til tat point whr it is further impossible for me to continue .... anyways dhil i aa gettin little bit emotional here ... this is bcoz this site means a lot to me .... ok then bye
