Microsoft chairman architect Bill Gates is still the wealthiest person in America with a total of $51 billion, according to Forbes' annual list. Four out the top five richest Americans represent the technology industry, with fellow Microsoft founder Paul Allen, Michael Dell and Larry Ellison trailing Warren Buffett.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin were the big movers on the 2005 Forbes 400 list. The Google founders vaulted to number 16 and 17 with $11 billion each. Google CEO Eric Schmidt followed at number 52. Meanwhile, Steve Jobs took position 67 on the list with $3.3 billion, while Amazon's Jeff Bezos dropped from number 38 to 42.

So my questions goes to you guys, what made billgates wolds richest man... ?
If we compare the computer knowledge billgates have with a indian computer engineer.. the indian computer engineer will have much more knowledge than bill.. this is a fact from some analyse i read a few months ago.. so the reason he is so rich is not because of the computer knowledge he got... then what is it ?? come out with ur opinion..

hey the main reason he is the richest is coz he owns a lot of indians who r more knowlegeable than himself
the first gr8 thing he did was he jus wrote a 500 page book on the trouble shooting in the old operating system which he used in ta library.

your arque does not hold sundar, cause bill gates got very rich even before he started hiring indians.. he is getting more and more rich because of indians is not contradictory but the fact is he was rich even before. I think the reason is because he was in the right place and the right time..
