what i heard is also the story of jenny
"kathal ukku siranta adayalam ungaloyoda kathal taan endru solli maar tattikanum".
i have read this setence in a book
the meaning: to be the symbol of love, it must be pure
so ungal kathal ayum kalapadam illa unmayanatai irukumar vaitu kollungal.

Thanx Jen for sharing the story of Shahjahan. I have heard this earlier. Itz not even love symbol. Itz just a tomb.

Antha kalathula rajakkal ethu seithalum makkal paratara alavukku seivargal. Even there is a rumour now-a-days that it a shivan temple. This tomb was built by destroying it.

Nyways the structure of Tajmahal is very beautiful. The architect is very good and we have something popular (world known) and famous in India.
